1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Aphra ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Aphra is an AI-powered secretary that manages email triage, calendar scheduling, and daily briefings. The Service is available via mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web application.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

Aphra offers Free, Pro ($17.95/mo), and Premium ($24.95/mo) plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
  • Overload the Service with automated requests beyond normal usage.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and AI models, is owned by Aphra. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership of your emails, calendar events, or personal information.

7. Limitation of Liability

Aphra is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any missed emails, scheduling errors, or other consequences arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Data Processing

By using the Service, you grant Aphra permission to access and process your email and calendar data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time, and we will remove your data within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
